Art of Storytelling celebrates Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month with speaker Ger Xiong.

In collaboration with United for Diversity, please join us to hear Ger share about her experiences growing up as a Hmong girl and being born in the refugee camp.  She will be sharing a little history of why her family left Laos and came to Thailand as refugees.  She will also be sharing about the Hmong culture while my parents were in Laos, her experiences in the refugee camp, and coming to the USA and growing up as a Hmong girl, getting married, and now being a mother of 4 children.  Ger will share how she sees the culture change from when her family were in Laos, Thailand, and then in the USA.
