The Family Radio Network’s annual Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive is back! This year’s drive runs from February 23 to March 16, supporting 121 homeless and crisis programs across 20 Wisconsin communities. This essential drive aims to supply a year’s worth of hygiene and cleaning products to each participating agency, allowing them to focus their limited financial resources on critical services like housing, food, counseling, and education.
Local Impact
In Oshkosh and Fond du Lac, donations will directly benefit local organizations, including ADVOCAP, ensuring that all contributions stay within the community they came from.
How to Help
- Donate supplies: Purchase new, unused hygiene and cleaning products and drop them off at collection boxes located near the entrance or check-out areas at Festival Foods and Walgreens.
- Host a collection box: Businesses, schools, churches, and organizations can place collection boxes in high-traffic areas and encourage participation from staff, members, and students.
- Make a financial donation: Contributions will be used to purchase gift cards for hygiene supplies at local retailers. 100% of your donation (minus bank fees) stays in your local community (based on billing address).
Most needed items:
- Soaps: laundry, dish, soft, shower gel, 2-in-1 shampoo
- Trash bags: shelters especially need these for bedrooms
- Diapers: sizes 3-6 and Pull-Ups
- Deodorant: unscented preferred
- Wet wipes
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Disposable razors
- Tampons and maxi pads
